What Is This Place, Exactly?
I play The Sims 2 (yes, the 2004 classic) and turn it into a dramatic, lore-heavy storytelling experience. Think less “build a perfect house and make everyone happy” and more “family sagas, morally questionable decisions, and watching pixel people navigate life’s chaos.”
The Sims 2 might be two decades old, but it’s still the best life simulation game ever made. Why? Because it had personality. Sims had memories, aspirations, and actual consequences for their actions. When a relationship broke, it stayed broken. When a Sim died (and they will die, oh yes), it mattered. Modern life sims are polished, sure, but they lack the soul that makes failure interesting.
Current series: The Sims 2 SimCity Uberhood: A massive crossover project combining multiple neighborhoods into one chaotic metropolitan area. Families from SimCity, The Sims 2 base game, and custom creations all coexist in what can only be described as “barely controlled anarchy.”

A Note on Mods & Custom Content
A lot of what makes this series look and play better comes from the amazing Sims 2 modding community. These creators keep a 20-year-old game alive with quality-of-life improvements, visual enhancements, and gameplay fixes that EA never gave us.
